Controls Design Engineer (EPMS), CDE

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers Basic qualifications: - 4+ years of relevant work in a data center or other critical environment experience - 3+ years of experience working with electrical diagrams, single line diagrams, and electrical distribution systems - 3+ years of experience working with industrial controls systems - Experience with power monitoring and SCADA systems - Experience with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus Preferred: - B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field with 4+ years of related experience in a professional environment - Experience working with electrical power monitoring systems (EPMS), including platforms such as Eaton Foreseer, Ignition, and Schneider PSO/PME - Experience programming or configuring revenue-grade metering systems (ION, SEL, GE, or equivalent), including demand profiling - Familiarity with utility disturbance monitoring, power quality analysis, and event capture (sag/swell detection, harmonic analysis, transient recording) - Knowledge of electrical single-line diagrams, electrical distribution systems, complex electrical concepts, and data center redundancy - Knowledge of data center facilities infrastructure and operations (PDU, UPS, generators, etc.) Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
