Construction Manager, Specialty Programs Design & Construction

Amazon's Global Engineering Services (GES) North America Design & Construction team is seeking a Construction Manager to serve as Amazon's owner's representative in the delivery of built facilities and Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field - 5+ years of proficiency with AutoCAD and/or BIM, and scheduling software (Primavera, MS Project, or similar) - 5+ years of experience as an Architect, Engineer, Construction Manager, or in a related construction discipline - 5+ years of project management experience spanning design phase through construction completion and operational handover - 5+ years of experience negotiating construction, procurement, and/or labor contracts Preferred: - Experience as an Architect, Engineer, Construction Manager, Development Manager, Owner's project management representative or in other Commercial Development and Construction related disciplines - Experience communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including colleagues and leadership, or experience in profee auditing, coding, and documentation requirements - Experience in facilities management, including planning, design review, implementation, and project controls - Experience managing concurrent projects in a program management capacity - Experience with vendor and contractor/subcontractor negotiation and management skills associated with construction and project execution Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
