Construction Manager, GES NA, Design and Construction

As a Construction Manager within Global Engineering Services (GES) North America (NA) Design & Construction (D&C), you are Amazon's owner's representative throughout the full construction lifecycle. You Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field - 5+ years of experience as an Architect, Engineer, Construction Manager, or in a related construction discipline - 5+ years of project management experience spanning design phase through construction completion and operational handover - 5+ years of experience negotiating construction, procurement, and/or labor contracts - 5+ years of proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Building Information Modeling (BIM), and scheduling software (Primavera, MS Project, or similar) - Position includes travel up to 60% (Nationwide). Travel involves air travel to regional airports and driving to site locations. A valid driver's license is required due to project assignments in areas with limited public transportation and rideshare options. Preferred: - Experience across at least two disciplines within the construction industry (e.g., General Contracting, Owner's Representation, Commercial Development, Engineering & Design, or similar) - Demonstrated success communicating project requirements to diverse audiences including senior leadership, public officials, vendors, and operational teams - Experience in facilities management, including planning, design review, implementation, and project controls for new and existing structures - Experience managing concurrent projects in a program management capacity - CMIT/CMAA or PMP certification or equivalent Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
