Construction Manager

Amazon's Data Center Construction Manager (CM) supports the delivery of hyperscale data center projects from feasibility through commissioning handover — contributing to scope, schedule, and budget management Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field - 3+ years of construction or project management experience - Business-level fluency in Japanese and English, including the ability to communicate technical concepts in writing and verbally with internal and external stakeholders. Preferred: - Experience in a data center or other critical environment - Knowledge of mechanical systems in critical Data Center operations including but not limited to CRAC/CRAHs/AHUs, chillers, cooling towers, storage tanks, chemical systems, heat exchangers, piping systems, pumps, valves, duct systems, fans, or dampers - Knowledge of electrical systems in critical Data Center operations that include but are not limited to utility substation feeds, transformers, switchgear, VFI Class UPS, DRUPS, PDUs, ATS, STS, SLA/VRLA batteries and associated systems, diesel/gas turbine generators and related fuel systems, Surge Suppression, Active Harmonic Filtering, battery monitoring systems, branch circuit monitoring systems or SCADA systems Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
