The AWS Basic qualifications: - 8+ years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or commercial vendor management - Experience building demand forecasts and supply plans that support operational or deployment schedules - Experience originating and negotiating supply agreements and contract structures, and managing supplier performance - Experience defining and executing a category or sourcing strategy across multiple teams or geographies - Experience with dual sourcing and supply risk mitigation across global suppliers - Experience writing narratives and presenting strategy and decisions to senior managers and directors - Experience working with legal and finance partners on contract terms, and with engineering, program management, and operations partners on delivery Preferred: - 8+ years of experience sourcing connectivity or fiber materials, ideally fiber optic cable, connectors, or telecom hardware - Experience building demand and supply forecasts for large scale or multi region programs - Experience qualifying new suppliers or new materials in partnership with an engineering team - Experience owning a category as a business, including cost, risk, and roadmap decisions across orgs - Experience managing supply for large scale infrastructure or data center construction programs - MBA or a master's degree in a related field Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
