Communications Business Analyst, Operations Internal Communications

Amazon’s Internal Communications team supporting the Global Operations workforce is seeking a talented Business Analyst with passion for analyzing data and surfacing key insights that drive strategic shifts Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent - 3+ years of Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) experience - 3+ years of writing SQL queries and creating business intelligence reports using Tableau, Power BI experience - Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights - Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders - Experience producing executive-level written materials and presenting to executive audiences - 3+ years of business analyst, data analyst or similar role experience - Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools - Experience effectively communicating complex concepts through written and verbal communication - Experience gathering business requirements, using industry standard business intelligence tool(s) to extract data, formulate metrics and build reports Preferred: - Experience in digital media or marketing strategy, data analysis, analytics & visualization - Knowledge of database, data warehouse, or data lake solutions - Experience with AI/ML technologies - Experience in A/B testing - MBA or advanced degree in statistics or similar - Python or other scripting languages for data analysis and automation Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
