Commissioning Engineer, AWS Commissioning

We support all AWS data centers Basic qualifications: - 5+ years of engineering, installation, or startup/commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems experience - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or 5+ years of relevant discipline work experience - Knowledge of mechanical systems in critical Data Center operations including but not limited to CRAC/CRAHs/AHUs, chillers, cooling towers, storage tanks, chemical systems, heat exchangers, piping systems, pumps, valves, duct systems, fans, or dampers - Experience interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings - Experience reading, interpreting, and creating construction drawings, specifications, and submittal documents Preferred: - Experience developing and executing test procedures for mechanical or electrical systems/components based on design intent and approved equipment submittals - Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel - Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, or experience in managing and troublshooting network - Knowledge of the electrical and mechanical systems involved in critical data center operations including systems such as feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS systems, ATS units, PDU units, chillers, pumps, air handling units, and CRAC units - Experience reading and editing construction documents (design drawings, control diagrams, specifications, etc.) Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
