Commissioning Area Manager, AWS Retro Commissioning

The Commissioning Area Manager is responsible for managing a team of Commissioning Engineers (CxE) in the retro space, who run commissioning retro projects by coordinating with vendors, contractors, and Basic qualifications: - 5+ years of electrical or mechanical engineering, or 4+ years of relevant discipline work experience - Experience in industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including but not limited to: data centers, power generation or oil and gas facilities - Experience managing and leading employees - Knowledge of the electrical and mechanical systems involved in critical data center operations including systems such as feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS systems, ATS units, PDU units, chillers, pumps, air handling units, and CRAC units - Experience reading, interpreting, and creating construction drawings, specifications, and submittal documents Preferred: - Experience working in a data center or mission critical facility (example: hospital, military facility, public safety facility, etc.), or experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
