Civil Design Engineer

AWS is seeking a Data Center Civil Engineer to join its design team in Columbus, OH, Seattle, WA or Herndon, VA. As a Data Center Civil Engineer at AWS, you will lead Civil Engineering designs for Amazon Basic qualifications: - Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel - 3+ years of commercial, warehouse, and/or industrial site-civil design experience. 3+ years in site development, grading, paving, storm water, and utility design. - Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering Preferred: - Experience carrying design concepts through exploration, development, and into deployment or mass production - Professional Engineer License - Experience in data center or mission critical facility design with basic multidisciplinary knowledge of mission critical systems, design process, pre-construction requirements and the construction process - Experience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment - Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D. - Demonstrated ability to evaluate the design and constructability of site design by third-party consultants. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
