Business Intelligence Engineer, WWPS Reporting and Analytics Center of Excellence (RACE)

Enterprise reporting is changing. Static dashboards and scheduled PDFs are giving way to interactive, AI-augmented experiences that let leaders explore their business the way they think (conversationally, Basic qualifications: - 1+ years of development/programming/scripting language (Python/Java/Bash/Perl) experience - Bachelor's degree or above in computer science, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, IT or equivalent, or Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, computer science, operations research, business analytics, information systems or equivalent - Experience in writing SQL queries and creating business intelligence reports using Tableau, Power BI - 1+ years of professional or project experience building web interfaces with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including at least one project using a modern framework (React, Vue, Svelte, or equivalent). Preferred: - Experience designing for accessibility and inclusivity - Experience contributing to serverless backends on AWS — API Gateway, Lambda, and Python - Experience contributing to front-end unit and integration tests (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright, or Cypress) and maintaining them in a continuous integration pipeline - Familiarity with data visualization libraries (D3, Recharts, Observable Plot, Vega) and the judgment to know when to reach for them vs. a BI tool. - Experience integrating LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, Bedrock) into a product surface - Experience working with AI-powered development tools (e.g., AI-assisted IDEs, code generation tools, or similar). Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
