When you order a package on Amazon, Last Mile Operations is in charge of the final delivery to your home. Central Operations' mandate is to centralize all tasks that can be centralized across Japan's 200+ Basic qualifications: - 8+ years of as a Data Analyst, Data Engineer, Business Intelligence Analyst, or a related occupation experience - Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills. - Experience with AWS technologies - Knowledge of data warehousing and data modeling - Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning and data mining - Experience communicating results to senior leadership, or experience communicating complex information and solutions to senior stakeholders and influencing decisions - Speak, write, and read fluently in English Preferred: - Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs - Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership - Experience working as a BIE in a technology company - Master's degree in statistics, data science, or an equivalent quantitative field - Speak, write, and read fluently in Japanese Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
