State and local governments are at a pivotal shift in finance, administration, tax, and revenue operations by leveraging cloud to increase security and resilience, fuel innovation, and amplify customer Basic qualifications: - Experience presenting to both technical and non-technical executive audiences - Experience leading complex, multi-year initiatives that may be cross-functional and/or span business and technology - 7+ years of finance, tax or a related analytical field experience - 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience - Experience structuring and negotiating complex agreements and leading cross-functional groups to orchestrate and successfully complete deals - Experience with technology platform sales with an understanding of government IT, data centers, cloud services and cloud adoption - 3+ years of working directly with government officials and regulatory bodies experience Preferred: - Master's degree in business, data science, public administration, finance, engineering, human resources, or related field, or PMP certificate - Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations - Experience designing, implementing, and scaling workforce development programs across large-scale operations, including forecasting workforce needs and leveraging analytics to drive program decisions - Experience in working directly with government officials and regulatory bodies - Experience influencing multiple stakeholders and leading cross functional teams across geographies and business units - Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy - Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level - Experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field, or experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday) Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
