Business Analyst II, Relay Product Excellence

We are looking for a curious, detail-oriented Business Analyst II to join our team. In this role, you will turn complex operational data into clear insights, define business requirements, and help drive Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, data science, business analytics, economics, finance, engineering, or computer science, or experience working in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) - 3+ years of business analyst, data analyst or similar role experience - 5+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience - Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools - Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights - Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders - Experience communicating results to senior leadership, or experience in solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) - 3+ years analyzing and interpreting data using SQL, Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, Hadoop/Hive, or similar technologies - Strong programming skills in Python and SQL with ability to handle large datasets - Ability to deliver high-quality work with limited guidance Preferred: - Master's degree in computer science, machine learning, engineering, or related fields - Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition - Experience prioritizing competing demands, scoping large efforts, and negotiating timelines - Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization - Experience in written and verbal communication with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to executives and non-technical leaders - Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document - 3+ years relevant work experience in related fields beyond basic requirements - Technical expertise in Data Science, ML, and Statistics - Experience with data mining, and statistical algorithms - Proven track record driving cross-functional projects to completion with minimal supervision - Demonstrated ability to distinguish between one-way and two-way doors in decision-making Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
