Business Analyst II, CMT

Amazon is seeking a Business Analyst in the Competitor monitoring team. We are looking for a self-starter with analytics experience who can work on complex business problems, help provide actionable recommendations Basic qualifications: - 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience - 5+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience - 3+ years of business or financial analysis experience - Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights - Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders - Experience with Excel Preferred: - Bachelor's degree or above in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, data science, business analytics, economics, finance, engineering, or computer science, or Master's degree or equivalent - 5+ years of relevant work experience in business intelligence, analytics, statistics, data engineering, data science or related field - Advanced proficiency in SQL, ETL management, data modelling, and working with “Big Data” - Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools - Experience with statistical modelling and analyzing large data sets - Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail - Both technically deep and business savvy enough to interface with all levels and disciplines within the organization. - Experience in developing requirements and formulating business metrics for reporting. - Experience collaborating with business and data engineering teams. - Experience using AWS analytical services (e.g., Redshift, EMR) Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
