Business Analyst I, CMT

Amazon.com operates in a virtual, global e-commerce environment without boundaries, and operates a diverse set of businesses worldwide, including Retail, third party marketplaces, e-commerce platforms, Basic qualifications: - 1+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience - Experience with SQL or ETL - Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights - 2+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience - 1+ years of business or financial analysis experience - Experience gathering business requirements, using industry standard business intelligence tool(s) to extract data, formulate metrics and build reports Preferred: - Bachelor's degree or above in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, data science, business analytics, economics, finance, engineering, or computer science, or Master's degree or equivalent - Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities - 2+ years of relevant work experience in business intelligence, analytics, statistics, data engineering, data science or related field - Good proficiency in SQL, ETL management, data modelling, and working with Big Data - Experience with data visualization using QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools - Experience collaborating with business and data engineering teams Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
