Business Analyst - Decision Platform, RBS

We are building Amazon's first horizontal self-serve decisioning platform — an intelligence layer that upgrades static rule-based systems into outcome-learning, context-aware decision engines. The platform Basic qualifications: - 5+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience - 5+ years of business analyst, data analyst or similar role experience - Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights - Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders - Experience with Excel - Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL - Experience conducting sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translate the results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations - Experience in process improvement - Experience in stakeholder management, including influencing executive level global leaders - Experience in technical support, or experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities and experience in managing and troublshooting network - Experience in SQL data manipulation - Knowledge of visualization tools such as Tableau, Datazen, SSRS - Basic understanding of statistical analysis Preferred: - Master's degree in a related field - Knowledge of machine learning concepts and their application to reasoning and problem-solving - Experience in mentoring, leading, or managing more junior engineers - Experience with Python or R programming - Experience in e-commerce or retail analytics - Prior experience working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
