Benefits Manager, APAC, Benefits Experience and Technology

Join our APAC Benefits team and shape the employee experience for thousands of colleagues across Japan. In this role, you'll partner extensively with internal stakeholders and external partners on the Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in business, finance, HR or a related field - Experience in employee benefit plan design including healthcare, workers compensation and pension schemes along with associated complexities of plan administration, associated payroll processes, country level regulatory requirements and benefits program taxability - Speak, write, and read fluently in Japanese - Speak, write, and read fluently in English - Experience in program or project management - Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership - Experience working with customers with a passion for delivering exceptional service - Experience in data analysis and extracting insights to make data-backed business decisions - Experience driving improvement programs in the operations, engineering and support fields - Knowledge of Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word - Experience in written and oral communication, including the ability to communicate with all levels in the organization (technical, business, executive) - Knowledge of general AI tools Preferred: - Experience creating and implementing large-scale programs - Experience driving projects to improve operations and support-related processes - Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities - Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications, especially MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint at an advanced level - Experience working with or evaluating AI systems - 6+ years of experience managing large-scale employee benefits in Japan including Health Insurance Association (HIA) management, associated vendor management, and program development and delivery Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
