The Amazon Aviation Security (AvSec) team is seeking an enthusiastic AvSec Manager to provide leadership, and oversight for Amazon Air’s (AIR) cargo transportation business. The AvSec Manager will be responsible Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent - Experience handling confidential information - Experience with all Microsoft Office applications - Experience in a combination of the following domains: corporate security management, transportation/supply chain operations or aviation security - 3+ years of experience in a security or investigations related field or related Bachelor degree. Preferred: - 3+ years of program requirements definition and data and metrics leveraging to drive improvements experience - 5+ years of aviation regulatory compliance experience - 5+ years of conducting workplace risk investigations experience - Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level - Experience handling ambiguous or undefined challenges through strong problem solving abilities - Experience with process improvements (Lean Six Sigma and/or Kaizen) - Experience with physical security control and surveillance systems - Experience in conducting investigative work, including claimant, witness, and target employee interviews, investigative data analysis, and production of investigative documentation - Analytical leader experienced in performance based, action and results-oriented management, strong project manager and effective problem solver. - Ability to assess risks and challenge current practices to develop and deliver innovative solutions to meet or exceed the customer expectations. - Business Continuity experience. - Analytical leader experienced in performance based, action and results-oriented management, strong project manager and effective problem solver. - Ability to assess risks and challenge current practices to develop and deliver innovative solutions to meet or exceed the customer expectations. - Business Continuity experience. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
