Application Builder, Ring

Ring is looking for an Application Builder to help build the next generation of experiences in the Ring app. You will work on emerging features and ship native code alongside engineers who are actively Basic qualifications: - Experience programming with at least one software programming language - Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems - Experience (non-internship) in professional software development - Android mobile application development experience in Java and Kotlin Preferred: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent - Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations - Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git - Experience optimising apps for performance - Experience writing testable code and automated tests - Experience with REST architecture for web services - Working knowledge of both Android and iOS platforms - Experience adopting AI-powered development tools (AI-assisted coding, test generation, code review, debugging) in real production work Amazon is an equal opportunities employer. The base salary listed corresponds to working on a full-time basis. For part-time hours, the salary will be pro-rated. In addition, the candidate may be eligible to participate in a restricted stock unit scheme operated independently by Amazon.com Inc. in USA.
