AMER Sustainability Manager, Amazon Global Real Estate and Facilities

The Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) Sustainability team seeks a Sustainability Manager to own sustainability strategy and program delivery across Amazon's AMER corporate real estate portfolio. Basic qualifications: - Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership - 5+ years of program or project management experience - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements - Bachelor's degree in sustainability, environmental science, engineering, urban planning, or a related field, or 5+ years of relevant work experience - 5+ years of experience in sustainability, environmental management, or a related field - Experience managing sustainability programs within real estate, facilities management, or the built environment - Experience working with cross-functional teams and external partners (e.g., property management firms, engineering consultants, landlords) Preferred: - Master's degree in sustainability, environmental science, or a related field - Professional certifications such as LEED AP, WELL AP, TRUE Advisor, or ISSP - Experience with green lease frameworks, sustainable design standards, or sustainable operations at scale - Familiarity with waste management, water stewardship, or carbon reduction programs at portfolio scale - Experience working with third-party service providers in a program management capacity - Experience navigating a matrixed organization where progress depends on building consensus across teams without direct authority - Effective written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing strategic documents and presenting to senior leadership Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
