Aerospace Manufacturing Engineer, Process, Leo Decks

The Manufacturing Process Engineer serves as the technical backbone of the Decks production line, owning the documented, optimized, and continuously improved processes that enable every technician to build Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related STEM field - Experience interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings - Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools such as: 5S 5Y FMEA PDCA Value Stream Mapping DMAIC Run Charts Pareto Analysis - 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role - Experience with SAP or an equivalent MES/ERP system for mBOM and production version management - Experience in hardware manufacturing processes and quality systems - Experience with CAD software (Siemens NX preferred) - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and engineering collaboration tools (PLM, Jira, Confluence Preferred: - Experience implementing process improvements - Experience working in Jira or similar workflow management software - Experience managing projects and working independently - Master's degree in engineering, management, or technology, or Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering - Experience in aerospace, defense, or high-mix/low-volume precision manufacturing - Direct experience leading Design for Manufacturability (DFM) reviews and NPI (New Product Introduction) processes - Experience facilitating Kaizen events, VSM (Value Stream Mapping), or lean continuous improvement programs - Proficiency with time study methodology and labor standard setting - Familiarity with satellite assembly programs - Demonstrated mentorship, technical leadership, or project leadership experience Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
